It's been too long

So much has happened in the last 6 weeks. I dont know where to begin. Joseph's cousin Finn was born December 18th. Joseph sat in the waiting room for 12 hours waiting for Finn to be born and did not close his eyes once!!! As soon as he saw Finn was okay he passed out!! Too cute.

Then we had Christmas at BB and GP's house. Mommo came to town and stayed with us. Joseph was spoiled and loved his first Christmas. He dressed in his tux that his daddy bought him :) Too Funny.

We went to Columbia for New Years Eve to have a late Christmas with Joseph's cousins Ty and Griff. They love Joseph so much. It is adorable to see them all together.

While we were in Columbia Joseph developed a fever. He continued to have fever that Monday when we got home so we took him to the doctor. The doctor said it must be a virus. Long story short, he had a fever for the next 10 days but acted fine. He saw the doctor 3 times and they didnt find anything wrong with him. On Sunday we went and got prayer at church for his fever. That night my dad suggested we try a different thermometer. The different thermometer showed that he had no fever. Joe went and got a third thermometer and he didnt have a fever after all! He had received tylenol every 4 hours for 10 days and never needed it once!!

So most of you know that Joseph was a colicky baby and we had not been successful with him sleeping in his crib throughout the night. We decided this is the time we were going to stick to our guns. So he did great for a week sleeping 10-11 hours in his crib at night then he really got sick. For the last week he had a double ear infection, conjunctivitis and a severe cough and cold. This made us feel bad to let him cry in his crib so back to square one with him sleeping with me on the couch or in the swing. (His places of comfort)

This week Joseph is well and sleeping in his crib as of last night. We started rice cereal this week too! Enjoy these pics from the last month! (They are in order most recent to the past)
